Both VAAM and HornetJuice are based on the giant hornet's nutritional liquid, however, there are 3 major differences between VAAM and HornetJuice...
1. Different sweetening and flavoring agents.
Unlike VAAM, Hornet Juice does not contain stevia. Stevia is an artificial sweetener that is widely used in Japan but not FDA-approved as a sweetening agent and food additive. Hornet Juice contains Sucralose instead which does not have the bitter after taste that Stevia has.
VAAM is grapefruit flavored and HornetJuice is raspberry flavored.
2. Serving Size
HornetJuice is 15 grams as opposed to VAAM, which is only 10.5g.
3. COST
The biggest difference between VAAM and HornetJuice is that HornetJuice costs less because it is manufactured in New Zealand rather than Japan.
